Reverend Heather Concannon

Heather CroppedRev. Heather Concannon (she/her) is our Minister of Faith Formation. She began serving at UUAC in 2014, after graduating from Andover Newton Theological School with a Masters in Divinity in 2013, and a Certificate in Pastoral Care and Counseling. Before that, she attended Simmons College, where she earned a degree in Women and Gender Studies.

As the Minister of Faith Formation, Rev. Heather works with children, youth, adults, and parents in our Lifespan Faith Formation program. She loves being a minister, and she has a passion for faith development and nurturing Unitarian Universalist identities and communities. Heather is grateful for the ways that she has been nurtured and shaped by UU communities throughout her life, and finds herself called to help shape that experience for others.

Heather is a founding board member and resident of the Lucy Stone Cooperative, a thirteen-person cooperative house grounded in Unitarian Universalism in Boston. She loves spending her summers working at UU Rowe Camp, a youth camp in Western Massachusetts.

Heather loves living and being in community, and is inspired by the ways that communities of all types care for one another, worship together, play together, create beautiful music, have hard conversations and cook delicious food together. She also enjoys creating art and spending time outside.
