Financial Stewardship

Our Church is the light that guides us toward becoming the people we want to be and create the world we want to see.  Your financial stewardship makes our mission and ministry possible.

2024-2025 Pledge Information

Our community is self supporting, and it’s time for all of us to revisit our financial commitment. We invite you to sign up here for a stewardship gathering in the coming weeks, to reconnect with our community as we prepare to pledge our support in the coming year. This is an opportunity for all of us to come together to reaffirm our dedication to the values and principles that guide our community, and enjoy each other’s company.

Annual Pledges

UUAC lives and thrives from the annual financial pledges that folks make, helping to pay staff, offer our faith formation and religious education programs, and live our faith outside our walls in the community. Every spring we ask members and friends to make a pledge to help support our operating budget for the upcoming fiscal year, which begins July 1st and concludes June 30th.

A pledge in the spring is your promise to share whatever amount of money you decided over the next fiscal year. Monthly pledge contributions are especially encouraged because they help us sustain consistent financial resources.

Planned Giving

Planned Giving isn’t just for retirees. Our community is filled with people of diverse ages and life circumstances and we can all participate in a way that fits our situation today, or even ten years from today.

There are many planned giving opportunities:

• Include UUAC as a beneficiary on your IRA
• Name the UUAC as a beneficiary in your will
• Receive Tax Advantages with a Life Income Gift
• Gift Property or Other Assets

Capital Campaigns

UUAC has invited members and friends to participate in many capital campaigns over the generations. In 2010-11, the congregation raised nearly two million dollars for our DREAM Campaign to build the addition to our church and provide much needed space for our growing congregation. In 2015 the congregation raised additional capital funds as part of DREAM II to retire debt, make improvements to our kitchen, and build reserves for future steeple repairs.

In 2021, the congregation held the Welcome Home campaign and raised funds to repair the steeple and make modifications to the building as a whole and the sanctuary specifically to improve health, safety, and inclusivity in response to the Covid 19 pandemic.
