Welcome!
We are delighted to welcome you to our church community. We recognize it is not easy to walk into a new church: maybe you haven’t been inside a church in years, maybe church has never been a part of your life, or maybe you are new to the area and seeking community.
Whatever has brought you here, what we all have in common is a desire to find a community of people equally in search of spiritual growth, connection, and a quest toward justice. Welcome! Let us help you plan your visit.

This Sunday
10:20 a.m. — Cooperative childcare for infants and toddlers opens (through 11:45 a.m.).
10:30 a.m. — Worship in the sanctuary. Regular services last about one hour. Children in Pre-K through sixth grade join in worship with the whole congregation for the first fifteen minutes.
10:45–11:45 a.m. — Faith Formation classes for young people in pre-K through 6th grade, most Sundays.
After the service — Coffee hour downstairs in Unity Hall. Please join us for refreshment and fellowship.
You Are Invited
Sunday worship is the heart of our congregational life. All are welcome. When you walk in the front doors on Sundays, you will be greeted by our minister and members of our Welcome Team.
At your first visit, please stop by the Welcome Table — located just inside the front sanctuary doors — for a name tag and to fill out a Welcome Card. Church members and friends wear nametags during Sunday services and at coffee hour, which helps us all get to know each other better.
What to Expect
Arriving
You’ll be greeted at the front doors by our minister and members of our Welcome Team. Stop by the Welcome Table for a name tag and a Welcome Card.
What to Wear
Please wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. Looking around on a Sunday you will see attire from casual to dressy and everything in between.
The Service
Worship includes words and music from ancient and contemporary sources — sacred scriptures of the world’s many religious traditions, poetry, literature, and current events. Regular services last about one hour.
Coffee Hour
Following the service, coffee hour is held downstairs in Unity Hall — coffee, tea, and a few snacks to nourish the body as we nourish the soul. We are a congregation that loves to eat!
Bring the Whole Family
Babies, children and youth are all warmly welcome in worship at all times. Families may sit together or use the Family Area at the back of the sanctuary to support your restless needs.
If you would prefer to step out of the sanctuary, a listening room in the library is outfitted with a speaker so you can follow the service until you and your child are ready to return.
Most Sundays, children preschool-age and older start in the service and depart for Faith Formation classes just after the “Message For All Ages.” Free cooperative childcare for infants and toddlers is offered Sundays from 10:20 to 11:45 a.m.

Getting Here
We gather at 11 Washington St., Sherborn, MA 01770. There are two parking lots on either side of the church. Additional parking is available along Sanger Street facing the library, in front of the Sherborn Library, and in front of the Sherborn Town Hall — only a three-minute walk from the church.
The church is accessible to people with physical disabilities: a ramp allows access to the sanctuary, an elevator in the northeast corner of the building provides access to all floors, and accessible restrooms are located on the main floor and the lower floor where Unity Hall is located. We have large-print hymnals and an assistive listening system — please let a Welcome Team member know if you would like to use them, or if you require any other type of assistance.
