“Today we are going to tell an ancient story about new beginnings. This story doesn’t have to be about believing things about Jesus or deciding whether we will worship Jesus, but rather about wondering what it can mean for us and what it might mean to follow his example. Because who among us doesn’t want a new beginning, doesn’t feel like a part of us needs to be renewed, reclaimed, even resurrected? And because this story isn’t just for Christians, or believers (remember, Jesus was a Jew!)”
